Twenty four hour care is provided by our cheerful friendly staff.

Medical services are provided by the local centre in Meopham. In home medical care is provided by local GP’s and District Nurses.

We are regularly visited by a Chiropodist, Optician, Physiotherapist and Dentist. Other services are available such as hairdressing, massage, reflexology and aromatherapy.

We employ care assistants, kitchen staff, office support staff, cleaners and maintenance staff who are overseen by senior carers and the home’s manager. They are selected for their qualities of reliability, integrity, skill, friendliness, professionalism and their understanding of the needs of the elderly. All staff are carefully screened and references are always checked thoroughly.

The majority of Care Assistants hold a minimum of NVQ level 2 and 3 in Care.

The home policy on “Therapeutic Activities” takes into account the Client’s interests, skills, experiences, personalities and medical condition. The home offers a wide range of activities designed to encourage the client to keep mobile, and most importantly take an interest in life. Staff encourage and help clients to pursue their hobbies and interests.

We are regularly visited by the local clergy who takes communion and is on hand for any spiritual needs.

Visitors are welcome to Holywell at any reasonable time.
